In Memoriam: Joe Bergant 1957-2019
There are no words to express our sorrow at the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Joe Bergant. Joe spent his entire life dedicated to inspiring students, offering courage to colleagues and teaching communities how to heal. Little did Joe know that as he fought the greatest battle of his life, he would inspire all of us with his determination, give us courage to join him in his journey and, now, in the saddest of days, remind us how to hold onto each other and remember his greatness in order to heal. Joe was a true hero and his legacy will live on through every life he touched over the years and we will forever be grateful for the time we were so privileged to have with Joe.
