The ESC of Cuyahoga County was recently awarded a $400,000 TeachOhio grant by the Ohio Department of Education. The Cuyahoga County TeachOhio program will provide a unique opportunity to utilize a consortium of higher education partners to support district and educator needs in meeting necessary requirements for HQT status or additional licensure opportunities. In addition, the Cuyahoga County TeachOhio program will provide a framework for sustainable conversations to align regional pre-service education programs with regional district staffing priorities and teacher supply plans. 

 

Through the Cuyahoga County TeachOhio program, the ESC of Cuyahoga County will continue to support teachers throughout the various stages in their careers and increase our organization’s capacity to meet the needs of our partner school districts.
