Special Education Advisory Council Special Education Advisory Council provides a monthly meeting for Special Education Directors of school districts in Region 3. Updates on key legislation related to the education of children with disabilities ages 0 through 21 as well as information and clarification regarding federal and state laws, rules, and regulations related to special education are provided. Presentations on emerging topics related to improving the achievement of students with disabilities and those who are at risk of being identified as disabled are featured at meetings. Special Education Advisory Council members may invite other administrators from their districts to attend the meeting. Advisory Council Meetings for 2011-2012
