(Formerly the Lakeshore Northeast Ohio Computer Association (LNOCA) and the Lake Erie Educational Computer Association (LEECA)

 

This past August, 2011, The Lakeshore Northeast Ohio Computer Association (LNOCA) and The Lake Erie Educational Computer Association (LEECA) merged to form The North Coast Council (NCC). Today, NCC is notably the largest Information Technology Center serving six counties in northeast Ohio including two Educational Service Centers, forty-five Public School Districts, ninety-nine Non-Public Schools nearly twenty Charter Schools, and half a dozen other educational entities. NCC provides support for approximately 200,000 students within the six-county region. NCC remains one of the Information Technology Centers (ITCs) that comprise the Ohio Education Computer Network (OECN) in the State of Ohio.

In addition, with the formation of NCC our agency is now positioned to provide Northeast Ohio member districts with continuously emerging technology services, cost-savings opportunities on programs and products and is easily accessible, with two convenient locations.
