Ohio’s Early Learning Assessment (ELA) is a tool for teachers of preschool-age children to learn about the current level of each child’s skills, knowledge and behaviors in the domains of Early Learning and Development. 

Topics covered will include the purpose of the assessment, preparing for administration, administering and scoring items, reporting assessment results, and using assessment results. The ELA and KReady site will be explained and time will be allocated for the Content and Simulator Assessments to be completed. The online components and the technology application will be addressed.

Audience:   Priority given to staff who are required to administer and report scores on the ELA: PSE and ECE funded program staff. Itinerant and related service providers.
