This session is
designed for building and/or district administrators desiring to learn more
about EMIS and develop a greater understanding of the complexities of
EMIS. Data governance and management of local, state and federal data
sets is critical for funding, accountability and data compliance.
Participants will also learn ways administrators can cause unintentional EMIS
errors. We will discuss student, staff and financial data components
and the various EMIS sub-systems that are used to process EMIS data for
school districts in Ohio. Includes presenters from districts
sharing administrative perspective.
