This year’s 5 day intensive classroom (ASD) training will focus on staff working with students aged 5-14 on the autism spectrum. The
training is very intensive and includes daily lectures, and hands-on
experiences with students with autism in a model classroom. Close guidance and feedback from 5 trainers
will be provided throughout. While the
focus group is students with autism, the strategies learned by teachers are
applicable to other students with other developmental disabilities as well.
College
credit at a separate reduced cost for the summer training will be available. Information will be given at the training.
