Cognition Based Assessment (CBA) is a genuine system for interventionin mathematics that helps us to truly understand students’ thinking -- then
to move that thinking forward to higher levels with materials that are
provided in the CBA books. Although the materials involve elementary
mathematics concepts through about grade 5 (some grade 6), learning
CBA is very useful for all teachers, including secondary teachers, who
work with students with gaps in their K-5 content knowledge. Come to
