The Building Leadership Team (BLT) plays an integral role in supporting Teacher-Based Teams (TBTs) and connecting TBTs to the District Leadership Team (DLT) / Network Leadership Team (NLT).
Participants will learn to:
= Collect and chart TBT and
building-wide data in Step 1.
= Research strategies in Step 2 to support high-quality instruction and a supportive school climate.
= Provide
mastery feedback to TBTs and design implementation for strategies in Steps 3
and 4.
= Reflect
on implementation and what the team learned from implementation in Step 5.
Principals
should attend with members of their BLT.
Audience: Building Leadership Teams (BLTs) who are beginning Ohio’s 5-step process and teams who have attended previous professional development and would like to refine and strengthen their practices.
