This professional development is a 3-Day series.  We will discuss your current practices and brainstorm how teams (including central office, building administrators, intervention specialists, general education teachers, transition coordinators, school psychologists and related services) can more effectively create, implement and monitor quality plans and practices that will lead to better outcomes for all students. Participants will:
1. Understand how to complete the IEP and ETR forms with both compliance and quality in mind;
2. Identify the connection between the ETR and the IEP;
3. Construct an internal monitoring system for quality and compliance of ETRs and IEPs; and
4. Create a plan to communicate this information with the entire staff

Day One: we will discuss the connection between the ETR and the IEP,
Day Two: we will help prepare your team to build an internal monitoring system
Day Three: we will help teams problem solve their internal monitoring systems and evaluate how well practices are calibrated across the district

Before attending Day One, it is required that all participants review the State released IEP and ETR Universal Supports Modules which will provide you with the basic “IEP/ETR 101” information needed for this PD series. It is recommended that teams review the modules together and then send us their specific questions and concerns prior to attending day one. (Modules can be found on the ODE website at: )
