Support for English Learners in the Content Areas November 18, 2019 l 12:30 – 3:00 PM l $50.00 English Language Learners (ELLs or ELs) enjoy scaffolded instruction and support in the ELL class, but also need help when it comes to other subject areas. Participants will learn about the challenges in each content area, accommodations, and modifications that can be implemented, as well as language resources that need to be considered when introducing content to English Learners. Strategies and resources will be shared for all core areas, as well as languages, business, health, physical education, and the arts. Teachers in all content areas are invited to attend.
