Prevention 101: Exploring and Implementing Prevention Programs
The Student Wellness Department, of the ESC of Northeast Ohio, and Recovery Resources present this FREE introductory Train-the-Trainer session on the basic tenets of prevention, especially as it pertains to mental, emotional, and behavioral health. In addition to providing information on the foundations of prevention, this session will also address: - Aligning prevention efforts within a tiered framework with a trauma lens,
- Selecting prevention programs using data-based decision making, and
- Integrating SEL curricula and interventions into the MTSS model.
Audience: Educational Staff, Administrators, and Community Providers working in schools
