Differentiated Instruction Part II: Curriculum and Instruction for High Ability Students
Tuesday, April 10, 2018
Topic:   Behavior & Climate
Sponsored by:   ESC-NEO
Presenter(s):   Beth Wilson Fish
Description:
The recent changes in Ohio’s Gifted Operating Standards recognize the importance of regular classroom teachers working with gifted students to obtain professional development hours in gifted education.  These modules address important topics necessary to ensure success for gifted students in our schools.  Facilitators of these modules all have gifted endorsements and concrete experiences with gifted students, including teaching classes, coordinating programs, and guiding students throughout their K-12 educational experiences.

This module continues to address effective strategies to differentiate curriculum and instruction for gifted students.  Participants are encouraged to bring a unit or lesson(s) to further develop as time will be provided to work directly with facilitators to enhance these units/lessons for gifted learners.
