Ohio’s Early Learning Assessment (ELA) is a tool for teachers of preschool age children to learn about the current level of each child’s skills, knowledge and behaviors in the domains of Social Foundations, Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Well-Being and Motor Development, as well as the Fine Arts. Topics covered will include the purpose of the assessment, the structure of the assessment, preparing for administration, administering and scoring items, reporting assessment results, and using assessment results. The ELA and KReady site will be explained and time will be allocated for the Content and Simulator Assessments to be completed.
