In the 21st century, student learning is more than just mastering content. Students are also asked to show what they know—in the form of next generation assessments. As we continue to ensure student progress with standards, it’s equally as important to ensure our students’ technology skills are up-to-standard, too. Those technology skills should extend beyond computer class into content-area classrooms. In this workshop, we will explore various options for creating our own “AIR-esaue” assignments, not only to transform the way we deliver instruction, but to help students put into practice the valuable skills they will need to boost their self-confidence when it comes to standardized testing.
