Description: |
This two day training is to provide information to paraeducators, instructional assistants, teacher’s aides, and paraprofessionals in assisting them to function more effectively and successfully when working with teachers, school personnel, parents, and students. The training offers a five point star to help maintain the focus and enhance the relationships between the teachers, school personnel, parents, and the students that they assist. These important traits are being: Professional, Planful, Positive, Persistent, Patient, and Confidential. During day two of the training you will learn strategies to assist with more challenging students in the classroom on a daily basis. These are enhancements that produce a classroom climate that is conducive to student learning and adult collaboration. |
