Teachers (K-12) will bring copies of their content
standards (scope and sequence or curriculum maps) for a future unit. Participants will learn how to plan for all
students using the principles of UDL, transfer goals and cornerstone tasks for
an identified standard. This three
day series will address:
Day One—Participants
will prioritize and unpack standards to be used to develop cornerstone
tasks.
Day Two—Participants
will create a rubric that incorporates content-area literacy, specific subject
area content and multiple means of student expression.
Day Three—Participants
will design daily lessons based upon the principles of UDL. Participants will share-out their lessons and
describe their process.
Audience: Teachers (K-12) in any content area. Teacher teams are encouraged. Building principals are encouraged to attend
Day 1.
