Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all.  The Daily Five is a framework for structuring literacy time so students develop lifelong habits of reading, writing and working independently. 

 

This workshop will provide the “HOW TO” of both the Daily 5 & UDL so that you can implement - - - or enhance what you have already - - - in your classroom.

 

You will learn the UDL Guidelines and the core foundations of the Daily 5, as well as, how to build stamina in students, along with techniques for launching the Daily 5 tasks.  This workshop is filled with practical ideas to take back to your classroom.  Come spend a day learning how to effectively implement these terrific frameworks.

 

Audience:  All K-5 teachers, intervention specialist, principles, instructional coaches, etc.
