Module 1: Using Technology in the Early Childhood Setting
This workshop has been developed to help early childhood professionals use technology in their classrooms. We will guide you to reflect on your own practice related to technology, explore standards and position statements, and make recommendations for the future.
Module 2: Incorporating Technology in Everyday Activities
Part 1: This session addresses basic knowledge of technology terms, and looks at what, where and how technology can be integrated into the classroom including exploring UDL principles. Intentional incorporation of technology to support the children’s learning will be stressed. Through this workshop you will also evaluate technology using research-based criteria.
Part 2: This session builds upon your knowledge of how to incorporate technology in your everyday activities, and differentiates use of technology based on student need.
