Teaching with Intention is a 5-day series of research-based instructional practices for ‘intentionally’ creating and developing the environment and your teaching practices to optimize the learning and development of the whole child. This series will also incorporate the Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) strategies and will look at developing the physical and emotional setting to intentionally facilitate literacy practices for all students. The topics include: • December - Environments • January - Play • February - Oral Language • March - Early Reading • April - Early Writing |
