In the 21st century, student learning is more than just mastering content. Students are also asked to show what they know--in the form of next generation assessments. As we continue to ensure student progress with standards, it’s equally as important to ensure our students’ technology skills are up-to-standard, too. Those technology skills should extend beyond computer class into content-area classrooms. In this workshop, we will explore various options for creating our own “AIR-esque” assignments, not only to transform the way we deliver instruction, but to help students put into practice the valuable skills they will need to boost their self-confidence when it comes to standardized testing.
