The Lead Professional Educator License is the final step in Ohio’s “4 Tiered Licensure Structure.”

Following a candidate’s successful completion of an approved Teacher Leader Endorsement Program, the TLE can be added to a professional teaching license.

To join this cohort, you need to have a:

*Current Ohio educator license

* Four years of successful teaching experience

* 3.0 undergraduate GPA
