Description:   August 11: Echoes & Reflections Workshop Day 2: Teaching About Media Literacy and Propaganda

This workshop is a collaboration among Echoes & Reflections, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, the ESC of Northeast Ohio, and the Ohio Center for Holocaust & Genocide Education. Media literacy skills are essential to critically and successfully navigate the ever-increasing amount of information delivered via social media, advertisements, television, and film. Participants will identify how media, both historically and in contemporary society, can be used as a tool to incite hate and violence against certain groups, examining propaganda through the lens of the Holocaust.  (Day 1 August 10th)
