Coaching Option: Registration Information

We are offering an additional personalized learning option for participants registered for the Be Here Now guided independent study or interactive course.

Description: The goal of the course is to help you develop a personal self-care routine so, in turn, you can share your best self and the practices you’ve learned with the students, families, and communities you serve! We will draw from the work of authors Elena Aguilar (educational consultant and coach) and Rick Hanson (psychologist), Ohio’s Social/Emotional Learning Standards, and a variety of breathing, mindfulness, yoga, and meditation techniques. 

This add-on coaching option will provide you with individualized feedback and support for meeting your goals. It includes:

• Onward book
• Individual Goal-Setting 
• Twice-monthly  1:1 Coaching Sessions via Zoom or phone that includes: check-in, feedback, and guided practice (20 minutes/ session)
• Contact Hours 

Instructor: Christy Roshong, Consultant at the ESC of Northeast Ohio. Christy is a school psychologist and former special education administrator. She has experience coaching teachers, school psychologists and counselors, related service providers, and administrators. Christy is also a registered yoga teacher.

Schedule: The educator and coach will create a mutually agreeable schedule that runs from September 2020 to May 2021. 

Cost:  $400 September 2020- May 2021; 

After October 1st, the cost will be prorated based on a $50/month fee.

Registration Deadline:  October 1, 2020. 

 After October 1st, requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
