EMIS Academy is a dynamic, engaging, and relevant opportunity for aspiring and new EMIS Coordinators or those who are interested in learning more about EMIS and EMIS processes.  The academy is a 10 month course that allows its participants to experience first-hand a year’s worth of EMIS reporting cycles, while also actively learning the ins and outs of EMIS business rules and data analysis.  The participants will not only receive practical knowledge, but will learn best practices as well as EMIS tips and tricks.  The academy is EMIS source (student, staff, financial) system agnostic, focusing on quality data process and state EMIS data sub-systems. 

Experienced EMIS professionals will instruct the classes, providing historical context in addition to current trends in EMIS reporting.  By completing the academy, participants will have the knowledge necessary to perform EMIS reporting tasks as well as have the resources necessary to stay current in this ever-changing field.
