How can we encourage students to go deeper in digital
discussions? In this 60-minute workshop, we look at one of the oldest
pedagogical tools for promoting deeper learning. Participants will leave with
innovative discussion strategies that they can take back to their virtual or
brick and mortar classrooms. Outcomes 1. What is the purpose of online discussion? 2. What practices will help students accomplish that purpose? 3. What would "good" participation look like? |
