Description:
Prerequisite: Program Improvement with Measures of Quality Overview
The Environmental Rating Scale (ERS) is a recognized tool to assess infant/toddler, preschool, school age, and family childcare environments. Training participants will learn how the ERS measures quality, become familiar with the design for accurate assessment observation, learn the scoring system, and become aware of considerations for conducting self-assessment as a measure of quality. Measuring quality through program and classroom assessments is important
