Description: |
Family leadership meetings will provide opportunities for leadership development through collaboration, team building, and communication techniques that participants can use when working as active participates with their school districts to support student learning. FLN representatives will begin to take leadership roles including planning of learning and discussion. The focus will be addressing all levels of the educational system and identifying opportunities to strengthen school, family, and community partnerships through: leadership, capacity building, and accountability. The work will be aligned to the National Network of Partnership School’s six type of parent involvement: parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision making, and collaborating with the community.
