Description:   This is a three part series on School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) for new teams. Over the course of the three days participants will:

1. Identify the priority status of a PBIS approach within their district and building plans;
2. Learn about the core components of PBIS and the procedures for establishing a universal level of PBIS;
3. Discuss and select a method of data collection and analysis for monitoring the impact of PBIS;
4. Develop action steps for establishing or refining expectations for behavior within the district or building
5. Share information about successes and challenges regarding their implementation of PBIS within their buildings;
6. Plan an approach for teaching expectations, encouraging expected behaviors and discouraging problem behaviors;
7. Design the basic components of a plan for monitoring implementation and progress of the PBIS approach in their buildings;
8. Outline strategies that the PBIS/Behavior team can use to roll-out plans with the staff in the buildings.

This series is open to building and/or district teams only and must include one administrator. Early Childhood representation is also highly encouraged. Teams will be expected to implement School-Wide PBIS within their districts.

Attending teams must sign the Ohio PBIS District Agreement Form and submit it with the registration form to Yvonne Daycak.

Participants MUST attend all three days.

15.0 hours of ODE approved CSWMFT Certification will be offered.

1 hour of graduate credit will be offered through Ashland University.
