| Description: |
The Special Education Leadership Network meetings are for the Director of Special Education or Director of Pupil Services administrator, supervisors and/or district reps for districts and community schools in Cuyahoga County. Meeting topics will vary based upon new information from OEC/ODE or topics developed to support improved outcomes for students with disabilities with a focus on literacy and transition. Discussions will be framed around the structures of the District Leadership Team, Building Leadership Teams and Teacher Based Teams and the provision of integrated comprehensive services to increase access and achievement for SWD and other diverse learners. Topics may include: Ohio’s Comprehensive Monitoring process; literacy strategies for diverse learners; development of equitable structures to support diverse learners; transition/attendance and early warning systems and train the trainer for use of OEC approved materials for IEP and ETR compliance. |
