SST3 is offering two formats for Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Teacher Training. The hybrid and in-person formats cover the same topics and include the purpose of the assessment, the structure of the assessment, preparing for administration, using assessment technologies, scoring items, test security, administration for students with disabilities, administration for English Language Learners, reporting assessment results, communicating with families about the assessment, and using assessment results. Additional sessions will be added as the need arises. Audience includes never trained kindergarten teachers and other staff. There will be an online update for previously trained staff. Teachers should consult with their building administrators prior to registering for this training, because the district must enter the individual into the K-ready site in advance. Participants should bring a laptop to the session if possible.
Registration will close two weeks prior to training to allow for training website/password set-up.
No walk-ins or substitutes.
