Low Incidence Network Meeting
Wednesday, September 2, 2015
Topic:   Networks & Collaboratives
Sponsored by:   SST 3
Presenter(s):
Description:   This Network is for anyone who is involved with the instruction of students with significant cognitive disabilities/low incidence (SCD/LI) disabilities. The network meets quarterly to collaborate on best practices for the instruction of students with SCD/LI and supports for teachers and administrators. Each meeting will address a specific topic that is timely and relevant to the group. We will collaborate on ideas and supports and often create and review documents and provide feedback thought the process.

Our topics for 2015-16 are:

September 2: SST SLO work session (LI specific) - bring your SLOs for feedback. This is a work session, not a training in SLOs.

October 1: Update on the new Comprehensive Monitoring Resources

December 10: SST-3 Early literacy and Post-Secondary Transition (morning will focus on Early Literacy and afternoon will focus on Transition but we will make connection between both topics for both sessions)

February 25: High and Low Tech Options for Writing and Reading for Students with LI Disabilities
