SST 3 is offering 2 formats for Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Teacher Training. Description for Hybrid Format and the 100% In-Person Format are listed below. Both formats cover the same topics and include the purpose of the assessment, the structure of the assessment, preparing for administration, using assessment technologies, scoring items, test security, administration for students with disabilities, administration for English Language Learners, reporting assessment results, communicating with families about the assessment, and using assessment results. Additional sessions will be added as the need arises. This training is for current kindergarten teachers who expect to return to their kindergarten positions in the 2014-15 school year. Teachers should consult with their building administrators prior to registering for this training. Hybrid Format This training consists of a one-day, in-person training followed by about 3 hours of online work. 100% In-Person Format This training consists of a two day, in-person training.
