IEP 101 for Teachers Workshop is designed for intervention specialists, general education teachers and related service providers to understand all sections of the IEP and the basic requirements for compliance when providing service and supports for students with disabilities. We will review research-based instructional practices to help all students excel. Participants will link the Ohio Improvement Process (OIP), OTES, Building Leadership Teams and Teacher Based Teams with ensuring appropriate service delivery for all students. Building and District Administrators are welcome to attend. All participants are requested to bring at least two written IEPs with the student’s name redacted to the workshop. IEP Work Sessions are available to give participants a chance to apply their learning to their own documents and receive feedback. You must have attended the IEP 101 for Teachers Workshop in order to attend any IEP Work Sessions (participants are welcome to attend more than one Work Session). You can also choose to attend only the workshop and not attend the half-day work session. |
