This training is for current kindergarten teachers who expect to return to their kindergarten positions in the 2014-15 school year. This training consists of a two-day in-person training. Topics covered will include the purpose of the assessment, the structure of the assessment, preparing for administration, using assessment technologies, scoring items, test security, administration for students with disabilities, administration for English Language Learners, reporting assessment results, communicating with families about the assessment, and using assessment results. MUST bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop to the training. Technology guidelines will be e-mailed to participants. Please ensure that your information in STARS is correct including role, contact information and e-mail. Registration will close 2 weeks prior to training to allow for training website/password setup. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins or substitute attendees. This training consists of a two-day in-person training.
