Ohio's Measures: Understanding and Using Accountability Data for Improvement

Description:  
A series of one-day regional training sessions are being held this fall to share information about Ohio’s Accountability System including local report card data, updated SAS® EVAAS® teacher value-added reports, the data behind the accountability system, and how to use the data generated from the measures for school improvement. Sessions run from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with lunch on your own.

These training sessions are intended for district and building leaders, teacher leaders, and others involved in the school/district improvement process.

Participants will know how to:
• Access the data used in Ohio’s accountability system
• Understand the measures used in Ohio’s accountability system
• Interpret the various data reports
• Analyze the data to identify possible cause and effect
• Use data to create an action plan for implementation at the school or district level

Attendees will leave the session with:
• Data Access Guide
• PPT template to assist in conveying your data story to stakeholders
• Action planning guide
